Azoxystrobin

Of the class Strobilurin, it is of low toxicity. The chief concern is ingestion of the chemical by inhalation of the sprays. It can also be a skin irritant.

Chemical name: methyl (E)-2-{2-[6-(2-cyanophenoxy)pyrimidin-4-yloxy]phenyl}-3-methoxyacrylate

Known risks associated with high exposure

Azoxystrobin has been on the market since 1998, however some wheat fungi strains are already show signs of resistance to it.

The chief concern is that of skin sensitisation.
